Having spent almost 20 years in the fitness & wellness industry, I found that most of the clients were solely focused on their physical health. Very few were open to look into their mental, emotional and spiritual health.

Similarly, I have noticed that the spiritual community largely ignores the significance of the body in the cultivation of consciousness or in the trauma healing process. More than half of the people I meet in this community have chronic health challenges, from anxiety and depression to autoimmune conditions and addiction to substances like alcohol.

Being spiritually inclined, they naturally look for energy healing, medicine ceremonies or modalities like breathwork to help them heal their trauma imprints. But they don't realize how much their hormones, metabolism, gut health, deficiency of nutrients, detoxification & drainage pathways and sleep quality are affecting their process.

Nutrition and sleep hygiene are not only basic health but also depth and emotional release work. Stress, trauma and triggers are not just relational, they are also metabolic and neurological. Most healing practices work by inviting the nervous system into enough safety to process. The factors mentioned above determine if that safety is even biochemically available.

Healing is largely about feeling the full spectrum of human emotions, the capacity to hold the stress response, a stable sense of safety and self, embodiment and integration. All of these become difficult without adequate minerals and amino acids or without neurotransmitter and hormonal balance.

This is why I am so passionate about the Rooted Healing Mentorship - to offer a path of grounded spirituality that does not bypass biology but uses it as a gateway for deeper work to land and last.
